Rakam is launched as a local brand in 2011 under the conglomerate EZ Group. Rakam manufactures and merchandises a complete and vibrant wardrobe of casual wear, party wear, work wean denims, outer wear, suits, jackets, footwear, bag, belt, wallet, hosiery; incorporating the most contemporary trends. Where there is an exciting mix, of colors, playful styling, and trendy textures which is also reflected in the tagline for the brand “as u wish”. Rakam always designs its product targeting the urban youth in Bangladesh. It is penetrating the lives of youth with designs that were refreshingly different and affordable.

Vision: To establish the brand as the premium response of ‘ki Rakam’, ‘j Rakam’, ‘anna Rakam’, ‘shey Rakam’.

Logo: Rakam is a Bengali word which means variety. It is a brand where customers get wide range of variety in products. To represent the variety the five letters in the logo are designed from three different shapes. Here the font of r and m came from rounded square shape, a is from circular shape and the black portion of k came from triangular shape.
