Kadamtala Purbo Bashabo High School & College is a progressing education institution. Now it is one of the famous school of Dhaka City.

KPBHSC established on 1973 in a auspicious mark. Even if it was starts its work from 1963 when it was named “Dokkhin Bashabo School” At first it was only an infirm tin’s house, which stood on five cottas. Now it has two five storied building.
It didn’t start it’s activities from it’s own place. It started its walk from a rent house paid by 30 Tk.

KPBHSC is not occurred as bed of roses; it is a glorious result of indomitable effort, cordial sympathy & irresistible relinquishment of the resident of Kadamtala. Especially Late Abdul Bari Khan & Late Abdur Rauf is always remembered.
1st student was admitted on 29th January 1973. A.N.M. Yahia Sohel was the first student of KPBHSC. Only 35 students were admitted on the starting year, total teachers were only four. Babu Shudhonno Kumer Halder was the first teacher of School history; Late Nur Mohammad was joined as the first headmaster (05.02.1973).

Kadamtala Purbo Bashabo High School & College was admitted as an primary school on 05.02.1973 [prompter no: 02414(3); Date: 09.06.1973]. It was permitted from Dhaka Education Board for high school on 01.01.1975 [prompter no: 43 KA (south) 2559; Date: 31.01.1979]. In 2000 it was promoted high school to college level & complete college section have been opened.

1976 is one of the most remembrance day of this institution, because it was permitted for SSC exam for the first time. Total examine were only four & three of them had been passed

In KPBHSC history Md. Shaduzzaman was the first student who was obtained Primary Scholarship (Talent Pool) on 1986. Ammate Nur Oahida Sultana (Niva) was gained Secondary Scholarship on 1978. Late Hasanat Fahmida was acquired Star Marks on SSC on 1984. In 1995 Md. Golam Rabbi Khan was captured 7th place in whole Bangladesh on SSC Exam.

There is lot of activities maintaining here. Scouting, Debating, Annual Sports & Cultural Competition, Annual prize giving Ceremony, Science Fair, Daily Physical Training, Annual fare-well for SSC & HSC Examinees, Welcome ceremony for the new Comer, Annual Picnic for SSC or HSC candidate, Annual Study Tour for college student is the common.
KPBHSC is used as a main center of Kindergarten, Primary, Junior Scholarship Examination.

In here lot of facilities are given to the students. A playground for physical fitness, a big Masajid for perform prayer, a rich library for acquire knowledge an science Lab for practice science.
