The Azimpur Dayera Shariff was established by a renowned Muslim Saint Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Muhammad Dayem Pak(R). His forefather Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Baktiar Mahisawar (R) started Journey from far distant Bagdad of Iraq riding on the back of large Giant fish passing through whirlwind roaring Sea and reached Bangladesh in 13 century.
